A real-life Droid
At Piaggio Fast Forward, people often connect our gita robots to R2-D2 and other droids seen in the Star Wars franchise, so when we had the opportunity to partner with Disney it felt natural. G1T4-M1N1 embodies the astromech droid in real life to turn our customers every day activities into galactic missions.
I spent time researching the movies, Star Wars brand standards, droid blueprints, and more to accurately create the vinyl decals used on the gita plastics. Along with the vinyls, we incorporated new lighting and movie-accurate astromech sounds to bring G1T4 to life.
The launch of G1T4-M1N1 was seen across PFF own social channels as well as Disney Store, StarWars.com, Star Wars socials, and multiple outlets covering the product.

Website
To accompany the launch of the product, I designed a full Star Wars inspired takeover for our product pages, including a star field background, spacecraft UI inspired rules and borders, and expanding more on the traits exclusive to G1T4. The homepage featured a G1T4 focused hero and an added Shop section pulling from the product page.
App
Our existing mygita app got a reskinning for the product. When adding a G1T4 to your app, the clients onboarding experience now reflects the Star Wars universe.
Print materials for the launch included new packaging and matching user manuals. Inspiration was pulled from Star Wars blueprint designs and the blending of gita with astromech droids, resulting in designs that reflect the combination of assets.
